Winter Watercolor

The chill in the air inspired me to do some winter-themed nail art this week.

 This is Gelish Medieval Madness topped with 2 coats of My Secret Santa, from the Gifted With Style holiday trends collection. I created watercolor decals using FingerPaints Artistic Azure, It’s Azure Thing!, and Fall-ing for You, and stamped with Bundle Monster Plates BM-14 and BM-319 and Konad plate k20.

 

Just In Case Good Gossip Never Comes

For this design I did a base of two coats of “Just in Case Tomorrow Never Comes” from the first Gelish Winter Reds Collection, which a beautiful, deep true red. After top coating all the nails with Gelish “Top It Off”, I used black acrylic art paint to draw two parallel lines, then used the same paint to sponge some black on the tip of the nail.  Once that was dry, I painted in between the lines with Gelish “Good Gossip”  from the 2013 Winter Reds Collection and cured again. Then, I added another coat of Gelish “Top It Off” just to the nails with the design on them (for me that was only the thumb and middle finger of each hand, but I think this design would work just as well on all the nails).
