My, Myself-ie and I

S&M 6 August 2017

As we enter the final weeks of summer 2017, I felt some neon pink nails were in order. This is Gelish Me, Myself-ie and I, from the Selfie collection, with some hand-painted nail art. Some nails are topped with All That Glitters Is Gold from the original Gelish Trends collection. I used black and white acrylic paints, a striping brush and a dotting tool to paint the design. This design was done on enhancements (tips) done with Gelish Dip, and not only do they look pretty good but they’re holding up very well!

Check out how beautifully all the colors work together in this collection:

Here’s a photo of my entire Gelish Mini Selfie collection. I rarely buy the mini sizes any more, but decided to purchased them in the smaller size for this collection because neons don’t see a lot of use from my current clients.

This summer I’m loving the corals and pinks in this collection. What about you? What’s your favorite Selfie color?

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE Gelish? This brand continues to amaze me. Check out the beautiful summer 2017 collection we have to look forward to! It’s called Selfie.

I was flipping through the March edition of NailStyle, and insert in Nails Magazine and there it was! We’re not even into March yet and already talking about summer colors and I am so excited about that. Thanks, Gelish, for brightening my day!

In other Gelish news, the Gelish Official Facebook page posted a teaser of a new, as yet unnamed product:

Lots of people are speculating that this is a gel removal product, but based on what I’m seeing from Creative Academy Ireland, it’s called Polygel and it’s a brand new gel system.  We’ll have to wait for the official U.S. unveiling at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago next month to find out what this is all about.

And the final piece of Gelish news is….

gelish-dip…a Gelish Dip system!?! I’m pretty pumped about this because I’ve been looking for a new dip system recently.  The acrylic dip method is the first enhancement method I started with 20 years ago. It’s very cool to see this method now modernized, and coming full circle.

Hand and Nail Harmony has not posted any information about this new system in the U.S., but you can check out a promo video posted by a nail tech in South Africa for a bit more information. And then we’ll wait for Gelish to give us more official news in the future… hopefully soon!
